Complex Spa Manager and Ultraceuticals Brand Field Educator

●  Complex Spa manager responsible for two spa locations in the brand portfolio overseeing a staff of 15 LMTs and LEs.

●  Responsible for coaching and training of new Spa Desk Associates, LMTs, and LEs and implementing brand di- rectives and promotions. Trained 27 Spa and Desk staff in new booking system.

●  Responsible for maintaining sales goals up to $50,000 per month and sourcing products and back bar to budget.

●  Trained front desk staff at club to work with spa on re-booking clients, and help with spa desk work flow; ex.

Checking in guests and club members, spa appointment confirmations, and opening and closing procedures.

●  Drafted and updated SOPs within spa on opening, closing and tasks by job title. Created protocols to manage work flow of spa staff and streamlining processes for spa management.

●  Responsible for all client and member in-reach and out-reach. Manage hiring decisions, HR compliance, payroll, and accounting.

●  Spearheaded in-club events to promote the brand’s massage, facial, and waxing services to members including brand-sponsored events with brands like HydraFacial and luxury clean-beauty brand Epicutis.

●  One of two individuals selected for a Field Educator role to educate and train our teams of estheticians in the Ultraceuticals product line. Underwent special training provided by the skincare brand and their team in Australia.

  • Creative Director and Lead Dual Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician August 2011-Present

  • Founder responsible for gross revenue exceeding $350,000 annually and leading a team of up-to 7 LMTs, recep- tionist, assistant, and software developer.

  • Created: brand image based on client ideation and utilizing merchandising practices; all treatment menus for mas- sage, facials, and custom spa add-ons; and, custom aromatherapy blends marketed along with treatments.

  • Scaled business and increased gross revenue from 2019 to 2021 by 200% in a pandemic atmosphere. Moved prac- tice from one treatment room to 2-room wellness studio.

  • Maintain a client base of over 3000 clients with a retention rate of 65% and a 95% five-star review rating across social media platforms (Google/Yelp/Facebook/ClassPass).

  • Responsible for all retail product sourcing and buying. Sourced and curated an offering of indie beauty brands.

  • Draft and update Employee Manuals, Training SOPs and protocols to follow for our therapists.

  • Train all staff in treatment protocols and soft-skills to create a consistent client experience.

  • Service and maintain client relationships with celebrity and VIP clientele.

  • Manage hiring decisions, HR compliance, payroll, social media calendars, post-creation, and accounting.

  • Perform up to 20 massages and facials per week alongside staff, and prepare soap notes and review.

  • Oversee marketing program including: UX and Optimization practices on website to create lead generation via Google and Facebook Ads; SEO practices; and, networking with like-minded businesses.

  • Implemented and provide creative direction for rebranding and viral social media campaigns resulting in an 80% increase of revenue from Q1 2017 to Q3 2017. The press campaign was featured in Martha Stuart, AOL News, Huffington Post, The Guardian UK, and Gothamist.
